About the Artist
St. Louis Artist, muralist, and Sign Painter Rich Carter has been doing works of art locally since the 90’s. Some local businesses have featured my work including Coca Cola, Missouri Botanical Garden, Crestwood Elementary, Manchester United Methodist Church, Jewish Community Center, and many more. Best known for being a well-rounded St. Louis artist, I can do almost anything related to creativity. I am passionate about my art and love the process of creating each new work of art. In conclusion, my love for creating doesn’t end with painting, I also love making music, editing videos, taking photos, woodworking, mosaics, and pretty much any and all things creative.
Education
My educational background includes a B.F.A. in painting from Fontbonne University. Also, I started my education at SMSU in Springfield, Mo for a few years. After college, I interned at an art studio a couple of years before I went out on my own. Besides being a working artist I run a painting and remodeling company called Carter Custom Painting to fill in the time between art projects. I am always learning and evolving my artistic skills year after year to make my art the best I can. Educating yourself is a neverending process I feel.

Along with Mural painting and Sign painting, I have been commissioned to do several paintings and drawings in the past.
